Wonder Bugs - Mud Pies in the Skies!

I love mud! And I think that pretty much every wonder bug that came to this week's Wonder Bugs program, Mud Pies in the Skies, loves mud, too!

We had fun meeting Marsha and Marcus Muskrat at the pond, digging in mud and playing with different kinds of soil like clay and sand.

Thank you to all the wonder bugs muskrats who tried the bog slog and an especially enthusiastic thank you to those of you who liked it!

Keep digging,
Miss Tara

Bog Slog Recipe AKA Broccoli Salad

2 large heads of broccoli, chopped very fine
about ½ cup cranberries
about 1cup cooked wild rice
about ½ cup roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds

Combine above ingredients. Then in a separate bowl mix together about 1 cup plain yogurt with 1 tablespoon wine vinegar (I used raspberry wine vinegar). Add sugar to taste.
Combine dressing with chopped broccoli mixture and refrigerate until ready to serve.
