Wonder Bugs Wednesdays (On a Friday!) - Whoo loves owls?

Are you still hooting over owls? I sure am!  Check out this 7 minute video that depicts Saw Whet owls at Woodland Dunes Nature Center in Manitowoc County.  I am going to keep an eye open for their 2011 Owl Fest so that my family and I can get up close with Saw Whet owls. You should put it on your list of fun things to do, too!

If you really want to become involved and learn more about the owls found in Wisconsin, consider becoming part of this year’s owl survey. You could become a wonderful source of owl information for your wonder bug’s curious nature.

Check out this classic story for a fun, surprising read: Good-Night, Owl! by Pat Hutchins ISBN-13: 978-0-689-71371-2  It will have you hooting with delight!

Until next time,
Miss Tara
